When mipmapping is turned on (no matter what level) if an enderchest is dropped the dropped enderchest and all nearby placed enderchests start flickering from white and back to normal repeatedly. Also, any transparent block far enough away to be mipmapped also flickers. In order to stop the flickering, you must pick up the enderchest which will either leave the enderchest texture white or go back to normal.
