Noticed that items disappear / despawn when dropped on the ground in less than a minute at times. Encountered and tested with 3 other people on a vanilla hamachi server and then tested it myself in single player. Some items (flowers, wool) would not despawn while others (diamond armor, weapons) would. Did the same test in single player to have both flowers and armor disappear in less than a minute however so it seems randomly selective.
