Just Started back playing Minecraft after being away for almost 6 months, Download the New Launcher and continue to install minecraft. All seems well Start it up,Loads fine. Go on my Server I play one which is survival and everything is Beautiful until i hold Certain items only know of a few(Normal Torches,Any type of sapling,yellow and red flowers)I have nothing but generic old fashion minecraft vanilla nothing is modded,no texture packs nothing. When I hold these items the item itself flickers most of the time and then POOF Immediately holding the items makes the water and lava go transparent with lots of tiny colorful squares. I have deleted the folder re-installed Minecraft and the problem still exist. Prior to this new launcher i have never experienced a issue till now. Here are some examples photos.
