Put the summary of the bug you're having here
What I expected to happen was...:
The boat should have been placed in the water next to the shore. When leaving the boat, the player should have been placed next to the boat (preferably on the shore, if the shore had been reached).
What actually happened was...:
When the boat was being placed, it would be out about 35-50 blocks from the shore. Swimming to it allowed boarding, after several tries, from the water. However, leaving the boat, no matter how close to the shore, made the player land about 35-50 blocks out in the ocean.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to place a boat in the water.
2. Swim to the boat instead of being able to get in from the land.
3. Leave the boat using the sneak key.
This happened to all players on our server today. I did not try it in my single player game.
