I was working on a custom map, at night, with night vision on. The entire world (sky and all) turned black. The first time this happened, the sky was white for a few seconds. This has happened to me 5 times in about 10 minutes... just checked the game again, make that 6. When placing a light source everything returns to normal. When leaving the area and reloading the chunks, everything returns to normal.
