What I expected to happen was...:
I would see the glass similarly to how I see stained glass.

What actually happened was...:
When making my custom resource pack, I made the glass semi-transparent so the outline and "shine" didn't bug me. When I tested it out, it was invisible and appears completely black (#000000) when holding it, while particles are working. The icon appears just fine (for example if checking your inventory).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a resource pack with a completely semitransparent glass block.
2. Use that resource pack.
3. Obtain glass.
