pigs dont follow when you have wheat in your hand or want to get fed to breed

What I expected to happen was...:
the pig to folow me and get heart partical effects when i fed it

What actually happened was...:
pig continued on its way and did not notice and it did not eat the wheat

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get wheat
2. Go up to pig
3. try to feed
