In PVP, it is often impossible to escape an enemy that is attacking you. This is because when a player attacks you, you get knocked into the air, and it is impossible to start sprinting while in the air. Even if you are already sprinting, the player can knock you into a wall and stop your sprinting, which causes the same problem. The third problem is that you stop sprinting when you attack someone, block with your sword, or eat food. The best fix that I can think of to fix the first problem is to allow players to start sprinting mid air. For the second problem, players shouldn't stop sprinting right when they hit a wall, but maybe a second or two after they've been running against a wall. The third problem can be fixed by not stopping sprinting when the sprinting player attacks, and to temporarily stop sprinting while the player is blocking/eating, and automatically start sprinting again when the player is done blocking/eating.
