The big problem with horse armor being finite is that it is ruining legitimate, classic survival servers ability to provide their users, if it is a large volume, with legitimate methods of obtaining it. There is currently no way to produce it other than to CHEAT and spawn it and I feel this was a huge oversight by the development team. Administration shouldn't also have the second worry that if their server has over 25-50 people that people will eventually no longer have horse armor in this amazing new update 1.6.2. Due to it simply disappearing from exploding creepers near chests, or due to it being burned by accident or simply your horse dieing and you can't find it or it vanishes.

It's not a big issue in single player, as you have a huge world to yourself, but it is a much larger issue for server owners with 500 to 5,000 monthly users. Please vote this issue up, and let's get the developers to add crafting recipes for all horse armor types. Thank you!
