If I set my mouse to a polling rate higher than 1000 I get fps drops and lags. This does not happen with a polling rate below 1000.

What I expected to happen was...:
A better gaming experience thanks to the high polling rate

      What actually happened was...:
I had severe FPS drops when I moved my mouse

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Start Minecraft Java edition

      2. Get a mouse that supports a polling rate of 2000 or higher

      3. set the polling rate to 2000 or higher

      4. Move the mouse and watch the fps count

      5. Watch the FPS and then set the mouse to a 1000 polling rate or lower and then watch the fps again

      6. You should see a significant drop in FPS
