Pale hanging moss lacks any mipmapping which makes it appear really grainy in the distance due to aliasing.
^ The aliasing is more visible durning movement rather than a still screenshot
Reproduction Steps
- Place some hanging moss and fly away from it
- Take a screenshot
- Disable mipmapping
- Take a screenshot
- Compare the 2 screenshots
Observed Results
- There is no difference in the look of pale hanging moss between the 2 screenshots because it doesn't have mipmapping
Expected Results
- Pale hanging moss would be subject to mipmapping
Here I have a demonstration of pale moss with working mipmapping (the shading is different because I used remodeled birch leaves to do this, so it has ambient occlusion)
