Playing survival and picked up water with a bucket then the item disappeared.

I thought i would get the bucket filled with water 

I didn't get the bucket of water

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load up newest snapshot today (Friday August 23rd 2024)

2. Create new survival world with one experimental add-on (minecart expirements) so i can play around and use them in the world

3. Craft a bucket with iron (cus its a useful item)

4: pick up water

5: item disappears (I spent like 5 minutes looking for it thinking i dropped it in the ocean somewhere)

Also when i had multiple buckets (2) i spammed right click and only got one. And when i placed the water down i lost the bucket but the water was there.
I have a recording but it is too large to attach if needed reach out.

UPDATE:
I did some testing also happened in the snapshot with out the expirements!
I believe if you have more than one bucket equipped in your hand it picks up the water bucket but when you only have one bucket it dissapears. Also works the same when placing down water bucket (in survival)
