When a minecart is stopped midair, and then lands on a powered rail, the camera will turn 180° if the minecart is going in the South/East direction.
This bug occurs when the "Minecart Improvements" experiment is enabled and the "Rotate with Minecarts" accessibility setting is enabled.
What I expected to happen was...:
The player's camera would consistently remain where it is when the minecart lands on the track, as the minecart's rotation has not changed.
What actually happened was...:
The camera is rotated 180° from where it was before, only if the minecart is going in the South/East direction, despite the direction of the minecart not changing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a world with the "Minecart Improvements" experiment enabled.
2. Once it has loaded, open accessibility settings and enable "Rotate with Minecarts"
3. Build a setup as shown in the picture/video below, or construct any rail system that drops a minecart directly down onto another powered rail.
4. Place a minecart on the top half and ride it off the drop.
5. If the camera rotates 180°, use the F3 debug menu and observe that the minecart was moving in either the South or East direction.
6. Build the same setup facing the opposite direction and run the same test, observing that the opposite effect occurs.
7. You may also note that if you remove the block that stops the minecart (highlighted in gold in the image) and extend the track, this bug will never occur, hence the suggestion that the bug occurs due to the minecart having no momentum upon landing.
