I am aware this problem has been encountered countless times, and in NONE of the issues a solution is reported. Therefore would like to request support AGAIN for this minor bug which makes the game experience personally utterly annoying.{}
Description:
Upon opening any GUI menu, like the main menu or the inventory, and moving the view at the same time, the cursor often ends up at the edge of the screen, or in the theoretical position it would be located if it was visible at all times. The bug ends up making the game experience very disorientating and annoying. The problem is encountered with versions like 1.21, 1.20 and especially with 1.19 which is my version of choice.
Steps to reproduce:
Launch Minecraft in full screen
Enter in the game enviroment
While moving the view open a GUI menu, like an inventory
Expected behaviour:
While moving the view at arbitrary speed, upon opening a GUI menu the cursor should stop it's inhertia and recenter to the game's window
troubleshooting attempts:
attempted switching from fabric to vanilla
attempted switching minecraft version
changed graphics platform from wayland to x11
installed the glfw-wayland-minecraft-cursorfix package from AUR
attempted installing the cursorcenteredfix-1.0.jar mod on fabric to fix the issue
updated the system
Thank you for the support in advance, if the ticket is going to be closed, I would appreciate being at least provided with a solution since any has been found in same-issue-tickets
