Summary:
Endermen teleport beyond the expected 32-block range in the Y direction when they come into contact with water, instead of teleporting within a 64x64x64 cube.
Description:
In Minecraft 1.21, Endermen should teleport to a valid location within a 64x64x64 cube when they touch water. However, they currently teleport to any Y-coordinate within a 32-block (square) radius column, often leading to them moving further than intended. This incorrect teleportation behavior disrupts gameplay, especially in setups like mob farms where precise/no teleportation is critical.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Spawn Endermen: Summon or locate Endermen in any overworld or custom-built area.
- Create Water Source: Set up a water source nearby or use a water bucket to create water flow.
- Force Contact: Place the water bucket on or near the Endermen so that water flows into them.
- Observe Behavior: Notice that the Endermen teleport beyond the expected range in the Y direction instead of teleporting within the correct 64x64x64 area.
Expected Behavior:
Endermen should teleport to a valid nearby location within a 64x64x64 cube when they touch water. Their teleportation should not exceed 32 blocks in any direction, including the Y-axis.
Actual Behavior:
Endermen teleport to any Y-coordinate within a 32-block radius column, resulting in them moving further than the intended 32 blocks in the Y direction.

Always (100% reproducibility)
