Redstone
This was observed in snapshot 24w20a
Hopper chain going East or North and maybe other untested directions will jumble items.
I don't know if this is a directional issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place a chain of 9 hoppers going east into a crafter.
- Setup a way to feed the hoppers simultaneously, like droppers looking into each hopper fed by a line of redstone.
- Freeze ticks and step by step observe the items traveling through the hoppers.
Observed Results:
The items will not travel simultaneously. Their order will get jumbled up. In the crafter, the items will not be received in the order that they were placed in the droppers.
Expected Results:
The items will travel the hoppers in sequence so that they reach their destination in the order that they were set by the droppers.
Notes:
This same setup going North seemed to work at first but after reloading, the items are also jumbled, but in a different order.
I made sure to test in a single chunk.
