Items which were previously inserted into an item frame but are then ejected will be spawned slightly higher than expected (off-center relative to the item frame), especially when compared to vertical facing item frames. The cause of this issue is the same as MC-123848 in that the item frame spawns the item from its lowest point and does not account for the item frame's facing direction at all.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place an item frame down
- Insert an item into it
- Tick freeze the game
/tick freeze
- Destroy the item frame in survival
Observed Behavior:
The lowest point of the item will be used to align the spawn position with the center of the horizontal facing item frame.
(Notice how the bottom of the item is centered with the center of the item frame.)
In comparison, vertical facing item frames spawn the item exactly centered:
Expected Result:
The item would spawn against the item frame using the center of it's hitbox to align the spawn position with the center of the item frame.
