Windows 11, but happens on multiple OS and Java versions.

Buttons reset time stays counting down after breaking, replacing, and pressing a new button in the same spot.
What I expected to happen was...:
Clicking a button, breaking the button, placing a new button, and pressing the new button would stay clicked for the full duration.
What actually happened was...:
Clicking a button, breaking the button, placing a new button, then clicking the new button, will reset the new button based on when the original button was clicked.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a button
2. Press the button
3. Break the button
4. Place a new button
5. Press the new button
6. New button is unpressed based on when the original button was pressed
Extra Notes:
Created a modded button with extended ticks to "unpress" as seen in the attached GIF, but it happens in a fully vanilla install on the latest versions as well.
