"/playsound" for longer tracks (assuming that it is intentionally designed to play longer tracks which I hope it is or will be soon implemented) such as music tracks for example become cut off by an excess of other sound effects.
Whether it is used by a command block or by a player command, sound will be cut short with the "/playsound" command. It is possible to successfully play the music I want to use for my adventure map without cutting out, but that requires disabling virtually all other sound effects, such as mob sounds, chest sounds, walking sounds, and etcetera. This is not nearly as immersive though. I am unsure of whether this is a bug or not. I am not that "tech-depth." I apologize for any possible duplicate issue post also. I use "/playsound <folder_name>.dreamChaser @a 0 0 0 100 1.0" because I want this approximately-three-minute-song to play virtually worldwide. It plays successfully, but by simply running in circles on grass (creating noise) and punching the grass continuously (creating additional noise), you should find out that the original "/playsound" sound (used earlier) gets cut short before the songs' actual ending. I use these song file types in Ogg Vorbis. Any song or sound will cut out no matter the volume of it (to the best of my knowledge). This is a very annoying issue for me, because I already spent a ton of time adding music to my world. If this can be fixed (or implemented, assuming the length of the song files that I am using are just simply too long beyond intentional use anyway), then it would most certainly be appreciated. Thank you for your time on this.
