If you use a wind charge and fall on a block that should cancel fall damage you still take fall damage if you get on a non ''safe block''

If you use a wind charge and fall lower than where you charged from and fall onto a block that should cancel fall damage, exit that block and jump on a block you do take fall damage from, you take the fall damage you would have taken if you hadn't landed on a ''safe block''.

Instead of canceling the fall damage you would have taken, the game remembers it and applies it as soon as you go onto a block that doesnt cancel fall damage.

Some blocks this happens with are:

      1. Water
      2. Powdered snow
      3. Sweet berries
      4. Vines
      5. Cobwebs

There are probably quite a few more blocks this happpens with.
