I keep getting kicked from a minecraft server I play on with one of the following messages:
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.util.zip.DataFormatException: incorrect header
check
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/10 (ClientboundBlockUpdatePacket) was larger than I expected, found 75 bytes extra whilst reading packet 10
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/0 (BundleDelimiterFacket) was larger than I expected, found 112 bytes extra whilst reading packet 0
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.CorruptedFramException: length wider than 21-bit
Sometimes I get other messages but they all are along those lines.
So whenever I enter the server, I'd get kicked out after some time, it can be after 10seconds or after half an hour. The problem is happening only on my PC, I tested playing on both of my laptops, on the same server, with the same minecraft and java version, connected to the same WiFi, and the problem isn't there and I can play normally, also, I could play on the same server with this PC exactly a year ago with no problems. I haven't seen anyone else having this problem on the server (or it's rare).
Some things i've already tried:
-updated all the drivers
-turned off VPN
-reinstalled both Minecraft and Java
-tried different versions
-updated windows
-enabled java and minecraft through my firewall
-disabled antivirus and firewall
-deleted all the mods
-tested internet connection and it's stable, no packet loss
If it's of any help, I play on a OneBlock subserver on that server, and I noticed that there are some areas that I get kicked more often than others, there are parts I almost never got kicked out whilst being there, it's like if there are more things happening near me, the chance is bigger for me to get kicked out. Also what I noticed is that if I Alt-Tab and use internet while I'm on the server, the chance is higher for me to get kicked out.
