The Bug:
Players' heads are momentarily incorrectly positioned when entering the elytra flying state.
When a player is entering the elytra flying state, their head is momentarily incorrectly positioned before being snapped into its correct position. This issue can be observed more easily in lower tick rates.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain elytra, switch to survival mode, and switch to third person so that you see your player's face.
- Set the tick rate to "5" by using the command provided below.
/tick rate 5
- Jump in the air, begin flying with your elytra, and watch your head closely as you do this.
Observed Behavior:
Players' heads are momentarily incorrectly positioned.
Expected Behavior:
Players' heads would immediately be correctly positioned when entering the elytra flying state.
