In the latest snapshot, Crafters have been changed to have the same tick delay as Droppers.

This should not be that way. As pointed out in a YouTube video this is like comparing apples to oranges because they never had ANY consistency. To summarize, Crafters were able to take in one item per slot first, then go down to the last slot that could be filled. Only then the first fillable slot could get an item again. Droppers (and Dispensers for that matter) first completely fill the very first slot and then progress to the next one.

All I'm saying with this is that MC-265910 is a false bug report as the Crafter wasn't comparable AT ALL with Droppers or Dispensers.
