The bug
When breaking a water cauldron or lava cauldron, the cracking animation is displayed on the water or lava inside the cauldron, despite the fact that water and lava never crack anywhere else in the game. For example, breaking waterlogged blocks does not cause the water to display cracks - only the block which is in the same space as the water.
Powder snow cauldrons are also affected, though powder snow is a block that can crack.
How to reproduce
- Place a cauldron
- Fill it with water or lava
- Break it
Expected results
Cracks would only appear on the cauldron.
Actual results
Cracks will also appear on the water or lava inside of the cauldron.
How to fix
I'd recommend adding an optional boolean to model files per element, named something along the lines of "displays_cracks". If not specified, this would be true, but it can be set to false to have a desired cuboid not display cracks. That way, this can be explicitly disabled for the element representing the contents of cauldrons.
