This needs some background onto how I came a upon this minor bug. I was playing in survival trying to find the last raider of the raid. I found out bells can make pillagers glow to help find them, got the bell. Was about to place it then one of my wolves walked on the block I was trying to place the bell on. Then the bell disappeared, and to clarify it wasn't back in my inventory or dropped on the ground. It was just gone. After that I tried to see if it wasn't just a one time thing. Made a creative world spawned some wolves, tamed them, and tried to recreate what happened, and same thing happened the bell disappeared. I thought to myself "ok it wasn't a one time thing. So tried it with a random sheep in the world and once again the bell said bye. Tested few other mobs, villager, creeper, zombie, zombie piglin, and enderman (in which I learned endermen are kinda fast). Bell said bye each time but it has to be exact or you might place the bell to early or to late and the bell would still be there. This is not a game breaking bug just annoying one.
(edit: when i reopened my survival world the bell was back in my inventory.)
