my friends can join my realm, but they can't type in chat.

What I expected to happen was...:
my friends being able to type.

What actually happened was...:
my friends not being able to type.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Buy a Realm
2. Invite Friends onto Realm
3. ask friends to chat in said Realm

4. friends cannot chat in Realm.

If anyone has advice on how to fix this, please lmk.
