The statistic "Distance crouched" does not update if crouch was initiated whilst sprinting

What I expected to happen was...:
The statistic and connected scoreboard should increase with each cm.

What actually happened was...:
The statistic stays static

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Define /scoreboard objectives add Sneak2 minecraft.custom:minecraft.crouch_one_cm
2. Setdisplay to show /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar Sneak
3. Start sprinting either with double-tapping forward or holding the sprint key
4. Whilst sprinting, click and hold the crouch button
5. The scoreboard (and statistics page) does not increase.
