It wont let me chat

so theres a new feture in 1.19.2 (worst update) about having to change the chat system so people can see the chat so i then followed what you already put down how to change it here is the link; https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/6985971367309-How-to-Change-Online-Chat-Settings-for-Minecraft-Java-Edition-

What I expected to happen was...:
i changed it to "everyone can view messages" i thought that would work

What actually happened was...:
it didnt work i can only chat when im in bed

1. luck
2. having the new feature up to date minecraft
