The Bug:

Aquifers can get cut off at chunk borders.

Here are some examples:

Seed: -2178309719778189280
Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 9750.20 -17.93 -297.93 -139.67 37.99
Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 20894.11 -27.02 241.03 -745.90 48.44

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to any of the given coordinates.
2. Observe your surroundings and look closely at the nearby aquifer.
3. Take note as to whether or not aquifers can get cut off at chunk borders.

Observed Behavior:

Aquifers can get cut off at chunk borders.

Expected Behavior:

Aquifers would not be able to get cut off at chunk borders.
