2 buried treasure maps not loading treasure marked locations, latest version singleplayer

What I expected to happen was...:
Collect a buried treasure map from a shipwreck, activated it and follow marker X to a buried treasure location

What actually happened was...:
Activating the map creates a map of the ocean, but there is no marker for a buried treasure.

In addition, I experienced a strange lag when initially trying to open the chest containing the treasure maps both times. I would right click the chest, and it would not open for multiple seconds, opening even while I was turned away or using the chat log to test if it was working

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a buried ship/shipwreck in the ocean
2. collect a treasure map
3. right click with the treasure map
