Chat reporting is a major problem for the game. Under any circumstances, PLEASE DO NOT ADD it to the full release of the game. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY. WE DO NOT want any company to monitor us players. PLEASE REMOVE CHAT REPORTING BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. This will SERIOUSLY affect the game and it's community. People will never touch the chat due to the fear of being banned for just typing a single word in the chat. Some "Reasons" for reporting a messages are straight up weird. Like....IMMINENT HARM?! Minecraft is a game where you can die...And typing "I am gonna kill you" can get you banned? SERIOUSLY? To whoever designed the reporting category section...Have you ever played on Servers? Like...Many servers are survival servers. Of course there will be deaths in game. Plus, who can really come out of your computer and kill you in real life??? WHO'S GONNA DO THAT? Many game devs have tried adding reporting chat messages to their games...and as soon as they did that, the game was suddenly unpopluar, and we, the community of Minecraft, DO NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. So, to summarize, chat reporting is a bad idea. We expect to see it removed from the game in the next few updates.
