Minecraft 1.6.1, Minecraft 1.6.2

Windows XP, Windows 8 (On both my computer and a friends) We both have the most recent version of Java at the time of this issue report.
-
Unconfirmed
Following the massive update to 1.6, both my friend and I's computers got an unreasonable amount of FPS increase. I am now able to have my computer on a normal render distance without Optifine, despite the fact that my graphics card technically shouldn't be able to run Minecraft. My friend also got a massive performance boost, now being able to run on the highest settings excluding render distance (still normal), despite the fact that his graphics card is an Intel graphics card integrated into the motherboard. We now have to amp up the settings using Optifine in order to return to our previous FPS levels. It has gotten to the point to where I have to turn on a large amount of animations in order to bring my FPS to 20-30. Please fix immediately, it doesn't feel like Minecraft without the unreasonably low FPS.
