Hi folks,
I wanted to play Minecraft: Java Edition today, so I started the game at 7:50 AM. But my screen time, which my dad always set me up from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM, is somehow not recognized by Minecraft: Java Edition and that's a very huge problem for children because playing too long and too excessive gaming is not good for you. I've only tested it with 1.18.2 and 22w19a, but it should also affect older versions. I hope that this can be fixed asap by Mojang staff for the reasons above. The Pocket Edition on iOS and the Minecraft launcher on macOS aren't currently affected by this. It currently only occurs on macOS Monterey, but it should also occur on macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina.
To reproduce:
- For example, set your screen time on your Apple device from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Start Minecraft: Java Edition before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM.
- You can play the game and it won't recognize the screen time.
Sincerely yours,
Atten007😊
