I am unable to change my skin from the skin I've had on minecraft for years. I go to the launcher, I can load the skin I want but when I click "apply" it states "Unable to activate skin." This error occurs on all skins, other than the one Ive had for years, including the generic Alex and Steve versions. It will sometimes allow me to choose the alex/steve versions but then it proceeds to get stuck on them stating that my other skin that Ive been using can't be activated either.

I am also unable to utilize the online website to perform this task, as it just refreshes the page when I attempt to load the new skin. I have asked friends to try the skin I wish to use and they can use it willy nilly.

Why do I have this error? Why am I barred from updating my skin to the skin I wish to have? Why can't I even select the normal generic skins in minecraft?
