The Bug:
The sculk sensors in the "minecraft:ancient_city/city_center/city_center_1" and "minecraft:ancient_city/city_center/city_center_3" structures used to open the piston door are too far away to consistently detect the vibrations of players eating.
MC-249800 introduced a fix for this issue with the "city_center_2" structure, however, both "city_center_1" and "city_center_3" still remain an issue. It's important to note that "city_center_2" is the only structure out of the three city centers to generate with a chest containing food, however, the sculk sensor mechanism used to open the piston doors is present in all three city centers, therefore persuading me to believe that the intention of how you're supposed to open the door is by eating around the top of the redstone room (in all city centers), despite only one of the city centers supplying you with a chest.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon either the "city_center_1" or "city_center_3" structure by executing the following command and powering the structure block.
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:structure_block{mode:"LOAD",name:"ancient_city/city_center/city_center_1"}
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:structure_block{mode:"LOAD",name:"ancient_city/city_center/city_center_3"}
- Obtain a piece of food and eat it whilst standing around the top of the redstone room.
- Take note as to whether or not the sculk sensors in the "city_center_1" and "city_center_3" structures used to open the piston door are consistently activated.
Observed Behavior:
The sculk sensors are too far away to consistently detect the vibrations of players eating.
Expected Behavior:
The sculk sensors would not be too far away.
