      Note

      This seems to be a problem with modded servers and clients. One easy and 100% way of reproducing is by using sodium-fabric-mc1.18.2-0.4.1 on Paper.

      I died in the nether at a normal y level (not close to bedrock), and immediately quit the game (using cmd+Q on mac) before respawning. I then attempted to rejoin the server.

      What I expected to happen was...: {}{}

      I would rejoin the server and be prompted with a respawn/title screen option, or be respawned at my bed

      What actually happened was...:

      I was stuck on the "loading terrain" screen, able to hear game noise but not able to move/access menus. I could only leave this screen by quitting the game.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Die and immeiately force-quit the game while in a server
      2. Attempt to rejoin the server
      3. Fail to do so
