      The Bug:

      Caves can occasionally interfere with the generation of ancient cities.

      As a result of this issue occurring, structures within ancient cities can generate with large portions of blocks missing, making them look strange and unusual.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      • Generate a world with the following seed and teleport to the following coordinates.
      • Version: 22w14a
        Seed: 7545504520051740373
        Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 552.86 -35.25 -1380.48 -987.82 26.56
      • Take note as to whether or not caves can occasionally interfere with the generation of ancient cities.

      Observed Behavior:

      Caves can occasionally interfere with the generation of ancient cities.

      Expected Behavior:

      Caves would not be able to interfere with the generation of ancient cities.
