If an open dripstone cave spawns in the middle of snowy mountain biomes (jagged_peaks, frozen_peaks, snowy_slopes) it rains on the the blocks that are part of the cave biome.

The uninformed player would not even notice that there is an open cave, just part of the landscape does not have snow, which does not look that good. When it rains/snows, their is snow until 0-3 blocks above the cave biome blocks but there is rain animation and sound on the blocks. In my opinion this destroys the emersion into a snowy/winter landscape, if there are pockets of rain (sound).
