Frosted ice has no proper tool; it always breaks at punching speed, regardless of what tool you use.

There is a sponge shortage on my server, about 20 for the whole population to share. I thought I could drain a flooded area faster by getting frost walker boots and then instantly breaking the ice with a silk touch pickaxe so it wouldn't leave behind water. Unfortunately, the ice took ages to break, leaving me with no choice but to wait for my turn with the sponges.
