NOTE: This is a duplicate of MC-240124. The reason I duplicated the page is because Alisa keeps privating my old one, so I had to make another one.
Whenever I use Minecraft, regardless of whichever world or mod I use, the game eventually crashes. The time it takes to crash varies from 10 seconds to several minutes, and it usually runs fine before it inevitably freezes, makes the screen go black, and crashes. This has happened many times, and I have tried many things. These include:
* Restarting my computer
* Uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft
* Uninstalling programs that are of no use to me to free up RAM
* Scanning for viruses on MalwareBytes, as well as manually(which I'm not great at)
* Playing Minecraft without any mods(the mods I normally use are Optifine, Fabric API, Replay Mod, and Optifabric)
* Updating my drivers
Those are everything I can remember doing to try and solve the problem, though I tried some more stuff that I can't remember. Here is some information that may be helpful:
* When the game crashes, the exit code is ALWAYS 0
* I have recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, which happened a couple days or possibly the same day as when the crashing started
* I have never tested if Minecraft randomly freezes on versions besides 1.17.1, though I have a relatively important world(Minecraft let's play), that is on 1.17.1, and the problem cannot be avoided by just not playing on 1.17.1
* My whole computer has been acting kind of off recently. Not noticeably slower, but certain things are occasionally not clickable when they should be, and very rare freezes.
* This has been going on for days now
That's all the info I have to give, if anybody can help that would be greatly appreciated, as I can't think of anything else to try. Thank you for your time!
