I've been playing Minecraft for years now, but this past month or so I've noticed a lack of shadows. It's as if I'm playing with night vision even when I don't. At first, I thought I was using a night vision texture pack, but that was not the case. I tried changing the version I was playing on, but this bug has affected my whole game. I've even tried deleting and re-downloading the game, but alas there's nothing I can do to fix this issue.
Is there any way to fix this issue? Although it's nice not having to use torches, it also makes it harder to light up my world so mobs don't spawn.
