    • Java Version 8 Update 301 (build 1.8.0_301-b09)
      Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042
    • Unconfirmed
    • (Unassigned)

How to reproduce: launch a world in 21w37a, adjust render distance from right to left side after giving it a chance to load some of the chunks

      • Crash 1: is from adjusting render distance from 32 to 14 upon creating a new world.
      • Crash 2: is from adjusting render distance fromĀ
      • Crash 3: I did not record, but was from adjusting render distance as well
      • Crash 4: is from adjusting render distance from 32 to 17 (setting it to 20 from 32 didn't crash immediately, however it did suffer slowdown)
      • Crash 5: (attached video) is from adjusting render distance from 27 to 5 chunks
      • Crash 6: increasing from low to high did not crash, but going back did
      • Crash 7: created new survival world, was able to adjust render distance freely with no crash until it crashed out of the blue on one adjust
