When you have smooth lighting turned on, powder snow doesn't create shadows into surrounding blocks.

      Observed result

Powder snow doesn't create shadows in it's surrounding areas. It doesn't blend well when there's patches of it on biomes like groves or snowy slopes.

      Expected result

Powder snow would have ambient occlusion like their snow blocks counterpart:

      How to reproduce

      1. Go to a grove or snowy slopes biome.
      2. Turn smooth lighting on.
      3. Notice how the shadows look weird on some areas due to powder snow.
