What I expected to happen was...:
I was falling in lava from the high place and have expected thats lava will prevent my fall damage

What actually happened was...:
i was falling in full diamond armor with no enchantments and i died my fall damage in lava, we tried this thing on the older version(1.16.5) and lava has prevented fall damage

Steps to Reproduce:
1. You should find any lava pools in Nether
2. Jump into the lava pool
3. On the 1.17.1 you 100% get a fall damage by falling into the lava pool, however if you get on 1.16.5 the lava will prevent the fall damage
