I was playing on the latest version of Minecraft as of 23/7/21 and found a bug while playing in my survival world. I searched to see if anyone has reported this bug but so far nobody seems to have reported it.

If you put the player character against a block and walk in or opposite to the Z cardinal direction then that axis will continue to go up/down depending on whether or not you're facing it or facing away from it even though you are not actually going anywhere at all.

I don't think I personally would consider it game breaking by any means but still a strange bug nonetheless.
