On my own multiplayer server I play near a large jungle biome and recently thousands upon thousands of wild ocelots has started spawning inside this biome. It spawns so fast it eventually starts lagging badly and the server crashes as the ground is literally covered in ocelots. This can can happen in a matter of a couple of minutes. It only seems to happen in jungle biomes only. ALL of the nearby loaded jungle biome is affected.
It seems to be directly tied to the world I think since the problem persists through different versions and different server programs such as bukkit.
But I mainly use the vanilla server software that mojang provides.
NB! This is NOT the same kind of bug that has occured in the past for others where ocelots and wolves would spawn at their feet as these ocelots do NOT teleport to me, nor are there any wolves. I could not find any duplicate of this nor do i think there is an EXACT duplicate of this particular issue.
I would upload the world if you need to look at it but I don't know how to do so.
