In 1.4.2, carrot and potato crops cannot be properly trampled. Jumping on the tilled soil turns it back into normal soil, but the carrots do not pop out. They stay there, on the grassless, normal soil.

MC-1162 When you jump on wheat crops usually the farmland become dirt, then seeds and wheat be dropped. However if you jump on potatoes and carrots crops farmland become dirt, but crops stay there.
