I've been practicing to MLG water bucket in my world using my trident and then I MLG  water bucket in farmland and the water glitched and stays in the air not expanding as normal water sources do 

Note: This glitch happened to me 2 times and there was wheat or carrot underneath me. 

You might think it is lag but I waited 1 minute and it didn't go away (it was in a rendered chunk) and I tried to reload chunks and I tried to rejoin the world but it didn't go away

Edit: I tried Getting a video but the glitch didn't work for me and the glitch doesn't duplicate items and doesn't ruin m world and i can pick the water with the bucket 

I think the water when placed was treating the fully grown crop as a block and then glitched and stayed in the air
