Hi we use Negative fonts to make awesome stuff but some players crash when a negative space is displayed (Tabs list / chat / lore / name tags / ... ). This crash has been seen by 3 players and both without a GPU ,

they use Intel HD Graphics.

It's impossible to reproduce the bug for people who does not crash. We are sure that is negative space fonts and not custom bitmap chars.

The crash is present in vanilla / forge / Fabric (+ optimised) / all launchers

\uF801 to \uF808: -1 to -8 pixels \uF809 to \uF80F: -16, -32, -64, -128, -256, -512 and -1024 pixels
\uF821 to \uF828: 1 to 8 pixels \uF829 to \uF82F: 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024 pixels
\uF800 and \uF820: -max and max, maximally negative and positive
