1.17 Snapshots have weird lines in between blocks, lots of noise, and lag. This does NOT happen to me on 1.16. This also happens to my sister in 1.17 and 1.16. My JVM Arguments for snapshots are -Xmx16G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=38 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=192M and my JVM arguments for regular Minecraft are -d64 -client -Xmx16G -Xms4G -Xmn2000m -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=16 -XX:+UseNUMA -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+UseBiasedLocking -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=38 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=192M -XX:+UseStringDeduplication -XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing . My sister's JVM Arguments are -d64 -client -Xmx6G -Xms3G -Xmn500m -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=10 -XX:+UseSerialGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=100 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=48M -XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing .
